The Point Nine User Forum Who are we? The Point Nine User Forum (P9) is a 'meeting place' for strategic conferencing and collaboration managers from organizations that make extensive use of conferencing solutions. This independent, peer-networking, end-user association facilitated by Wainhouse Research meets several times a year in both North America and Europe to discuss the participants' projects, challenges, and to share the considerable knowledge and experience that each has to offer.Format Our meetings focus on the latest conferencing hot topics and contain thought-provoking presentations from Wainhouse Research, participating members and other notable industry experts. A key feature of all P9 meetings is the lively and hard-hitting open discussion strongly engendered by the round-table format. This format ensures our meetings are always a fantastic opportunity for all participants to learn from their peers and exchange their thoughts, successes and forthcoming challenges.Scope Point Nine covers the broad spectrum of IP collaborative technologies ranging from Unified Communications, Telepresence, IP telephony, and managed services to the core subjects of voice, video and data conferencing. Wainhouse Research analysts are on hand for facilitation and to provide topical presentations, insight, and comment.Who should attend? Our meetings are open to all end-user, conferencing and collaboration professionals. We encourage all those who have managerial/strategic responsibility for collaboration in their enterprise to participate in the P9 program. Its vendor independence and hard-hitting, information exchange have made this highly influential group into an essential conferencing resource for many P9 participants. Please note: Our meetings are strictly for consumers/customers of conferencing technologies. Attendance by those in the vendor/manufacturer community is prohibited. Only our sponsors (and end-users) have access to our meeting - for sponsorship enquiries, please contactPrevious Participants The P9 program was started in 2006 and, to date, has welcomed over 200 conferencing managers to our meetings that have been hosted by major and influential organizations - Goldman Sachs, Pfizer, IBM, Merrill Lynch, Reed Smith, Lehman Brothers, Roche, Novartis, Cisco, AOL and The Max-Planck Institute.
